Five Tips to Prepare for Your Cleaning

  1. Provide Special Instructions and Feedback
Advise the office of special cleaning instructions that may be different from cleaning to cleaning. Provide feedback to the office about your cleaning experience to ensure the highest quality service.
  2. Provide Pet Instructions
Provide any pet-related instructions that may be different from cleaning to cleaning.
  3. Stock Up on Cleaning Supplies
Make sure you have the appropriate cleaning products for the surfaces in your home and stock your HouseWorks Home Cleaning Kit. Place cleaning supplies in a portable container and advise the office of their location in your home. Please consult our recommended list of cleaning supplies in the HouseWorks Home Cleaning Kit information.

  4. Tidy & Organize
Pick up toys, clothes or other household items that are creating clutter. The cleaners can place more attention on intensive cleaning instead of time-consuming organizing and tidying.
  5. Grant Cleaners Access to Your Home
Advise the office how you will grant the cleaners access to your home on the day of the cleaning. We securely maintain alarm codes, garage codes, location of hidden keys and information about unlocked doors.
